  1. Installation Read Me

  3. This file provides information on how to install the software applications on this CD to your hard disk.   Refer to the specific Read Me files provided in each application folder for additional information.

  6.   Note:  Some virus-protection programs (GateKeeper, SAM, Virex, etc.) may warn
  7.   you about some of the operations performed by the installer.  This is normal.  You 
  8.   should always give the installer permission to perform the requested operation.  
  9.   You may find it easier to disable any virus-protection programs before running 
  10.   the installer.

  13. To install all applications onto your hard disk
  14.  
  15. 1.  Insert the Apple Teacher Productivity CD into the cd drive.
  16.  
  17. 2.  Double-click on the icon labeled 'Install SW'.
  18.  
  19. 3.  Click 'Install' to install all the software applications onto your hard disk.
  20.  
  21. 4.  Click 'OK', when the installation is complete.

  24. To do a Custom Installation
  25.  
  26. A Custom Installation allows you to choose which applications you wish to install onto your hard disk.

  28. 1.  Insert the Apple Teacher Productivity CD into the cd drive.
  29.  
  30. 2.  Double-click on the icon labeled 'Install SW'.
  31.  
  32. 3.  Click 'Custom Install' to select specific applications to install.  Select specific applications by clicking on the file name.  Hold down the Shift key to choose multiple applications.

  34. 4.  Click 'OK', when the installation is complete.

  38. This Install program will create separate folders for each software application on your hard disk, and will copy the files into these folders.

  40.   Note:  Both installer options only copy the Apple Font software package onto your 
  41.   hard disk.  To install the Apple Font software package, open the Apple Font Pack 1.1 
  42.   folder on your hard disk, double-click on the Installer icon, and follow the installer 
  43.   instructions.
